With just a few clicks, you can graphically display and analyze the selected CDS view. You will never have to spend time on complicated code searches again. Dedicate yourself to more important things instead!

You get a UI with all known functions & (Fiori) design. The end user can search for a specific CDS view with the integrated filter options. Detailed information on the CDS view can also be used. Notes on the selected node include, among other things: Description, Fields & Annotations, Header Annotations and Parameters. In addition to this information, the MDS Graph App offers other practical functions.

Find field origin

With the MDS, you can easily determine the origin and path of a field. One click on “Display Source Field” is enough to determine which database table the field comes from. And also how the name of the field changes within the path. = Display Field Source

Using the “Display Field Target” function, you can view all database tables used by the CDS view in question at a glance. You can then determine exactly which context the field already exists in and at which levels it still needs to be added. = Display Field Target
